C. Course Overview

To earn the AUBE Diploma, students must complete 12 floral lessons (covering 13 designs) and pass a final practical examination. The exam topic will be revealed on the day of the test.

D. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1.Do I need prior floral design experience?
No. The course is beginner-friendly and covers everything from the basics.

2.How long does the course take?
Between 4 to 12 months, depending on your pace. Each lesson takes approximately 3–5 hours.

3.What is the final exam like?
You’ll recreate one of the course designs. The specific topic will be given on the exam day. If needed, you may retake the exam.

4.Where is the certification recognized?
The diploma is internationally recognized. Your certificate will be mailed directly from AUBE Preserved Academy in Japan (You will need to pay the diploma issuance fee of around ¥11,000 Japanese yen i.e. around $110 CAD separately).

5.Are the lessons online or in person?
Primarily in person, with flexible hours and two studio locations (North York and Markham). Online lessons are available for select arrangements upon request.

6.How much does the course cost?

  • Tuition Fee: ¥220,000 JPY (approximately $2,200 CAD) – as set by the AUBE Preserved Academy in Japan. Additional costs may apply to cover shipping, exchange rates, and local tax.
  • Examination Fee: $250 CAD

7.Is there a discount available?

8.Can I take the course in separate levels?
Yes, the course can be completed in stages: Beginner → Intermediate → Advanced. However, we recommend enrolling in the full diploma program to enjoy discounted pricing and avoid future tuition increases.

Note: If you transfer to the full course after completing only the Beginner level, you may still qualify for the full-course discount.
